Ragging has ruined countless innocent lives and careers. In order to eradicate it, Honble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No. 887 of 2009, passed the judgement wherein guidelines were issued for setting up of a Central Crisis Hotline and Anti-Ragging database.

The aim of the website is to eliminate ragging in all its forms from universities and other higher educational institutions in the country. To make a ragging free campus,This will be achieved by preventing its occurrence and punishing those who indulge in ragging, in accordance with the Supreme Court Regulations.

Definition of Ragging

Any act of physical or mental abuse targeted at another students on their religions caste, ethnicity, gender sexual orientation, appearance nationality, regional origins, linguistic identity, place of residence or economic background.

Aims & Objectives

To ensure a ragging free campus. Constitution of anti-ragging committee and adequate publicity through various Banners and stickers. To make the students aware of laws and punishments related to ragging

Anti-Ragging cell

Regular interaction and counselling with the students for detecting the early signs of ragging. Conducting Anti-ragging workshops, seminars and programmes of Advocates & other judicial related personalities.
